Highly pertinent to the Global Digital Compact, and the clause which emphasises the dearth of basic public statistics on digital development for evidence-based policy in the vast regions of the world, this policy brief synthesises some of the extensive findings of the After Access surveys of seven African countries undertaken by RIA in 2022 and 2023.
