Samantha is an AI Research Fellow. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Nelson Mandela University. She pursued a Masters in International Commercial Law. Her research focus was on whether there are sufficient regulations and policy in South Africa to address civil liability for artificially intelligent technologies.
She has been actively involved in advocating for human-centric AI through her work at the Center for AI and Digital Policy. She is currently working on RIA’s AI-related projects including the African Observation on AI and Africa Just AI.
