Samantha holds a bachelor of laws degree from the Nelson Mandela University. She pursued a Masters in International Commercial Law. Her research focus was on whether there are sufficient regulations and policy in South Africa to address civil liability for artificially intelligent technologies. She has been actively involved in advocating for human-centric AI through her work at the Center for AI and Digital Policy. Her interests lie in data governance and AI. Outside of her professional career, she finds joy in reading and agriculture.
