Kammy Naidoo is the Global Programme Advisor for MAP (Making Access to financial services possible). Previously Head of Information and Research at FinMark Trust, Kammy has more than 12 years experience in strategy and research, and has worked extensively on the African continent. She has an in-depth knowledge of African and Middle-Eastern markets, particularly ICT, and specialises in research and strategy.
A large portion of Kammy’s professional career has been working in the Strategic Investments Division of the largest mobile operator on the African continent, MTN Group, and most recently, she was an Associate Director at Deloitte Consulting in their strategy division.
Kammy has a Bachelor in Journalism (BJourn) and MA (with Distinction) from Rhodes University. She gained her PhD at WITS University where her research focused on the impact of policy and regulation on market structure in telecommunications in emerging markets.
