Inspired by a blog that RIA’s principle researcher and economist, Shamira Ahmed, wrote on “How COVID-19 exposes the defects in South Africa’s digital economy”, ITWeb produced a feature article quoting Ahmed liberally.
Policymakers “need to facilitate a more competitive and enabling environment that addresses developmental goals and transforms the South African ICT sector to better facilitate participation in the digital economy,” Ahmed told senior news journalist, Sibahle Malinga of ITWeb.
