The Policy and Regulation Initiative for Digital Africa (PRIDA) is developing a Digital Health Strategy for Africa and Research ICT Africa (RIA) is part of a consortium providing technical assistance to the effort.
PRIDA is a joint initiative of the African Union (AU), European Union (EU) and International Telecommunication Union (ITU). It is an important component of the implementation of the Digital Transformation Strategy for Africa (DTS) adopted by the Heads of States during the AU Summit in February 2020.
PRIDA is developing Africa’s digital health strategy following an Executive Council Decision of the AU.
RIA joins CARSA (an international technology consultancy) in a consortium providing technical assistance to PRIDA. RIA recently joined PRIDA and CARSA for a meeting to initiate the development of the Digital Health Strategy for Africa. Watch this space for more.
