Enabling a Digital Economy in Africa – Presentation by Enrico Calandro at AUC-PRIDA Meeting, 2nd September 2019.

The Technical Assistance for the Policy and Regulation Initiative for Digital Africa (PRIDA), a project by the African Union Commission is partnership with the European Union, aims at delivering universally accessible and affordable broadband across the continent by facilitating efficient and harmonised spectrum utilisation and harmonising measurable ICT/ telecommunication policy, legal and regulatory frameworks.

As a technical partner of the implementing consortium, Research ICT Africa is participating to a training workshop for the AU member states on “ICT harmonisation in Africa – How to monitor and evaluate it?”. Dr Enrico Calandro, Principal researcher, will give a presentation on Enabling a Digital Economy in Africa and on the context for harmonisation in Africa.
